COURSE DESCRIPTION
Basic course that acts as a foundation for all operators and supervisors of retail outlets. The course will cover fundamental requirements of general safety, hazardous substances and area classification, basic station operations, hazards associated with petrol stations, working at heights, emergencies and fire fighting.

At the end of this course, participants should be able to appreciate basic Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) principles.

Participants should also know how to respond in event of a spill, fire and other incidents.
